Every month, #29 of the Blackhawks Bryan Bickell and his wife Amanda find a special dog who needs a home. This month, “Bick’s Pit” is Tully, an adorable and friendly pooch who gets along with other dogs and kids. And, you’ll be giving her a second chance at life. Read her story here.

Amanda also tells us about their first ever Luxe Be a Lady Charity Fashion Show! Amanda and other wives of the Chicago Blackhawks and Bears will model the new line from Bloomingdale’s at Park West on November 7th from 8:00 – 11:00 PM.

Save the date! On Saturday, November 14th, come to the Golden Paw Gala to raise money for the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter, a no-kill non-profit in Northbrook recognized by Miranda Lambert as one of the best in Illinois!
The evening kicks off at 5:30 at Pinstripes (1150 Willow Road in Northbrook) with bocce, raffles, and appetizers. The dinner and auction begin at 7:00, and there are some amazing items you could win, including a trip to the Florida Keys, a Ravinia package, and wine tastings!
